Recent accomplishments:

Litigation: 

1. ๏On July 13, 2010, we filed a class action lawsuit against Apple on behalf of purchasers of the iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS.  According to the Complaint, the iPhone wireless signal meter misrepresents the amount of signal that is actually being received.  Patel v. 2. ๏Ten days before trial, a commercial tenant hired our trial team to defend him in a real estate action brought by his landlord.  We retained experts, prepared witnesses, completed depositions, drafted motions in limine and conducted a 2-1/2 week trial. 
   

3. ๏We defended and settled two patent infringement actions (Northern and Central Districts of California).
   

4. ๏We prosecuted and settled two trademark infringement actions against venture backed Silicon Valley start-up companies. 
   

5. ๏We prosecuted and settled two copyright infringement actions on behalf of a software developer against former licensees (Northern District of California; Southern District of New York).  We obtained a TRO in SDNY against the ongoing copyright violation.
   

Corporate:

1. ๏We negotiated and drafted software license agreements for iPhone and iPad developers. 
   

2. ๏We counseled emerging company clients on formation, IP strategy, financing and business strategy. 
   

3. ๏We advised a Web 2.0 startup on compliance with the DMCA and file sharing laws.
